Gratitude


For most of us it isn't difficult to be grateful when things are going well, and that, in itself, is worth being grateful for.:-)
However, the real challenge is remembering to make gratitude our companion when things are not going well. If you have made feeling grateful a daily habit, you will find it much easier. No matter what the nature of your difficulties may be, you have blessings, as well, no matter how small they may seem to you at the time. Expressing heart-felt gratitude for your blessings is guaranteed to lift your spirits!

To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.
